Dear All,

I have applied on 20th of April. Provided my biometrics on 24th of the same month. Receiving notification in CIC on 28th of April.

My question is, When it is expected to receive any update in my case?

My processing time is 5 weeks.

Hey Kinan! I have also applied in 20th April from Qatar as well, but since our applications go to Abu Dhabi then we are following the United Arab Emirates CIC timing which is 10 weeks not 5 :\ because all of the temporary residence applications in gulf countries are proceeded in Abu Dhabi.

But, if that was the case, why do you think there is a difference between processing time in Doha and in Abu Dabih.?
I think in Doha like what is written only 5 weeks.

The processing time for Doha is for applications that is done in Doha which are the permanent residence applications, but for the temporary they go to Abu Dhabi.. :\

They don't process permanent residence applications in Doha, those are also done in Abu Dhabi. All applications from Qatar go to the UAE, CIC doesn't even have a page for Qatar visa office. cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp#q

I'm guessing processing time for Doha is for applicants who reside in Qatar, hope so :P
