I too had lost my job back in Feb bocz they didn't issue AOR on time. i could not get BOWP for their delay. I'm an October Applicant and now waiting in my country for PR. Its been many months that I have been unemployed and every day waiting for some good news to come. Only waiting for that day in my life when I will get my passport stampped. August applicants are not hearing anything, my wait is endless.

All these 'wonderful' reasons, they don't apply to EE?

There is no such things: "There are lot of agencies CIC needs to work with including your country of origin law enforcement agencies and social services." you may read CIC operation manual here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/

The only duty of the CIC officer is assess the application eligibility on the class like assessing if you have one year work experience in CEC based on the doc provided by applicant. Medical is assess by a different section. when all these done the application will be sent to CSIS and CBSA for admissibility check(there is no exception based on nationality) If you pass they will send the result back to CIC and CIC officer will approve you case. Otherwise it will stuck and CIC will have no clue.

Each application has a due date to be reviewed by CIC officer which is less than one month at a time, If there is no update from Medical or CSIC or CBSA they will send an update request and they will review it in less than one month again but it may take up-to 4 years.

If you see your eligibility passed in GCMS note there is nothing that CIC can do for you neither your MP.

EE people are better quality? ;D Ironically, the scores of the invited candidates have been falling and falling every draw. The screwed up economy and naive policies make it less and less possible to land a job so vast majority of scores stay below 500.

Interesting to see EE was introduced right before the election year. They want to use it as political brag. So when they are criticized by their opponents for the screwed up immigration system, they can "proudly" put EE in front of them as a defensive shield. Haaa, I just want to puke.

I'm pretty sure these people they will drag us till the end. N then they will say sorry, so we will be void from Canadian experience class as well as from all sort of immigration in canada.
Express Entry people are getting PR in 5 months and now for us. Wait and wait for 14 months, even third world countries have better bureaucrats

Another 1523 EE applicants received their ITA today. Processing of their applications will probably start right away once the required documents are received. And here we are.. oh by the way guys, happy PR application anniversary!!

everyone on this thread, have some faith. I went through this. I also experienced longest wait. I applied in start of 2013 and got PPR in mid of 2015.

Also remember, timelines now are the best possible, in past timelines were counted in years instead of months.

One of my friend in July 2015 got PPR, he is from Express entry, if FSW is working well, if EE is working fine, all other immigration are confine to their deadline, then what happened to old CEC application, why they are not processing it?

some of the replies in this thread just freaked me out..

looks like they have put all the efforts to EE .. or as said by someone earlier "all aug/sept/oct files have been given to one officer and he/she is taking vacations to run away from the workload"
