hi everyone can we show rent agreements as one of the source of funds for visa

No rent agreements are if u want to prove u are living in a rented accomodation for kyc & other purposes
For proof of funds u need to give Income Tax Returns (all incomes are mentioned in it including rental)

Rent agreement isn't a suitable document for proving source of income
For proving source of income u need ITRs or Form-16 & salary slips in case of salaried person
For proving Wealth networth certificate from CA is required

only then u can show that agreement

Hi Guys,

I applied for study permit on April 24th through VFS(Chennai) and linked my application with CIC. Now that it is almost 5 weeks and 3 days, I haven't received any update except an acknowledgement mail on May 22nd and medicals and additional document parameters are alone positively updated.

Any thoughts on why is it taking so long and when can I expect Visa to be approved? TIA. My profile is as follows:

7 years of work ex in IT.

Hey, I applied on 25th April , no updates at all. Got letter on 23rd may. Just keep patience. We will get our visa.

Vfs centre has received my passport. But upto my knowledge canada visa office ask for passport only for stamping?
