Just Checked the Canada.ca website. The processing time of student permit for Indian is now 7 weeks. increased by 1 week

Hi Nikhil & Jaytee,

Guys, I also submitted my visa application file in VFS Delhi on April 20, 2018 for September intake.

On April 23, 2018, I received an email from VFS confirming that my application has been forwarded to Canada Visa office for processing.

On May 04, 2018, I got an e-mail referring as Student Acknowledgement Letter.
On May 18, 2018, I again got an Acknowledgement Letter.

Till date I've received above letter two times. No any other update I have.

Guys, have you passed your medical? Any update do you have? I'm so much worried .

This is the only update so far. Reading the previous comments from this thread it usually takes 30-40 days. waiting ... will keep you posted for any advancements

yup that's disappointing as only indians have to wait upto 7 weeks

I am From Ukraine , but live in India last 8 years .... Its not < only indians _ or because indians> Who's fault that Indian population is so much _ its surely 1st in the world now , not China. From here all the problems in India, Therefore so many applications ...... That's why I dream to escape from here .. So does my husband who's Indian.

Anybody got visa ? Who applied in April? ..... I applied on 4 April for September intake 2018 but didn't get any update till now. Today is 48th day....
Anybody have knowledge when I will get my visa????
