Hi All ,

Greetings.

I have submitted my PR application with all the supporting document under CEC, to CEC office ,sydney nova scotia ,Canada.

My application was received by CEC office on 3rd july-2014.
Please let me know when i will get my AOR number ? how long it will take ?

Please let me know if there are any tips and techniques to track my application status.
Appreciate your help.

It takes 4-6 weeks to get your AOR via email.

You can track application status by checking ECAS: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/ECAS.jsp

Thanks for the info. But it seems we need to have some type of Identification number and type to check my application status.
My situation is my application was just recevied by CEC office on 3rd july-2014. they did not give me any Identification number and type.

do you have any idea in this case what I need to use to track my application status using the above link you provided ?

You will not be able to track your application till you receive your AOR with the file number in it. You will use that File number by selecting 'Immigration File' from the drop down in ECAS.
 
Currently the AOR processing time is around 50 days. You can join the July 2014 thread.

Do you have an UCI (Unique Client Identification) number? If you have applied for visas or work/study permits, you should have one. You can use that to track your application status online.
 
Got the AOR email notification

Bank Draft cashed out - 19th Aug 2014
AOR received date - 19th aug-but i received the actual email on 25th oct-2014 after my query

Please update the excel sheet.
