When does processing time starts for family application w.r.t biometrics submission.

Hi all,

I have applied for my father, mother and brother TRV(online) on 10th April. I'm a PR here and they live in Pakistan.
Atm processing time is 37 days.
All of them gave biometrics on different days.
Brother: 12th April
Father: 16th April
Mother: 19th April
If we start calculating time after biometrics submission, it has already passed for my brother's and as of now there is no update on his profile.
My question is, if multiple applicants has applied together with their biometrics done on different dates and my father is main applicant, when should I expect to see some movement in their profile.

There hasn't been any movement whatsoever since biometrics instructions letter on 11th April except for my father and brother's biometrics information showing on their profile.
There isn't any information on my mother's profile, though IRCC has emailed me saying it has been received and updated in system.

Raise a CSE if the processing time is over. But as I have been reading, there have been substantial delays due to larger number of applications.

Having said that, you should raise a CSE anyway. Keep checking the online account regularly, sometimes you do not get an email that your account is updates, but it has.
Also, keep checking the email spam folder as some emails accidently land there.

I have the same issue, I have applied online visitor visa from Ireland on 8th April and it extended the processing time as it says 20 days.
I have very shortage of time as my flights and hotels are booked for this trip from 1st June as i am travelling with my family(Husband and daughter) who holds Irish nationality.

Please help!, Take it as Urgent as I have contacted High Commission of Canada in London but I didn't get any response..

Is there any way that can escalate my application. Please help!

Firstly, it's never advisable to book tickets without a visa.
Secondly, do you also have an Irish passport or is your nationality different from your husband's and daughter's?

People reserve tickets, where their credit cards aren't charged until few days before the travel date so that they would have a buffer to cancel/reschedule if thing don't go well or are delayed.

There is no way to escalate it but if you are over the processing time, then you can raise a CSE using the IRCC webform.

Also, what is the application status online?

I have raised IRCC webform today and emailed them with Urgent title as well but no response yet.

The application is still in submitted status, The text box says we are currently processing your application, I got email on 8th May that there is no updates on the application, tanks for the patience. The processing time here is 20 days for online application.Its about 6 weeks now.

Once my application is refused, I applied again with my tickets and family details as I didn't provided it previously, so the refusal reason was I didn't satisfy that I will leave the country. Does the refusal delay the process of new applicaton?

Refusal does not necessarily delay, as the biometrics is already done so you save sometime right there. As far as you have declared any past refusal(s) and have provided more documents that would satisfy the refusal reasons, you are fine for now. There is nothing much you can do. There could be something in the background check that is taking time.

Thanks for the information,one more thing As I my flights booked for 1st June, Is there any way if I get the response to submit the passport but I don't have time to send the passport. Can I travel without stamp or the passport can be returned quickly? As they VFS says 4-5 days for returning passport.

It can take anywhere between 3 days to 2 weeks. You cannot predict that. All you can do, is instead of taking courier service to get your passport at your home, you can collect it in person (from VFS) when it has reached from High Commission to the VFS. That can save you a couple of days. That's all you can do, provided everything else goes well.

my family's timeline is exactly as yours, have emailed ABD Immi but to no avail, there is nothing we can do at this except waiting, they have emailed me twice about my mother's biometrics information has been received and updated in the system but it doesn't show on her profile.
When that information is showing for my father and brother, it should show for my mother as well, especially after their two emails.
I work in a government organization here in Canada, I know how things works here and there and how professional they are.
But anyways we can only wait and pray .

The processing times are just estimates based on the time they have taken to process applications in past.
And not every file is same. For both you guys here, there is nothing as such you guys can do but wait.

Keep tracking your online account, email inbox/spam for any updates you might get. And also, you can raise a CSE, if not already.
