When does my PGWP duration begin?

Hi all!

I applied for my post graduate work permit outside of Canada and was approved. I received my TRV and a letter stating that I had to enter Canada before 2023 to obtain my work permit. Does this mean that the duration of my work permit will begin once I enter Canada or has it already started?

Hi, thank you for your reply. So it says I have to enter before Oct 10th, 2023. If I enter Canada on October 1st, 2023 and obtain my work permit, does it mean I only have 9 days left to legally work? (hypothetical)
