When does ECAS get updated? Please share experiences

I have been checking my ECAS almost every day for citizenship application and I was wondering when it gets changed/updated? Please share your experiences. Thank you!

It's worth noting that some things do not show up in Ecas; for example, I received a RQ, and that was never reflected in Ecas. I am not sure if a hearing with a judge shows up in Ecas (I have heard conflicting information about this)

I thought it was weekly. At least it was last year. Maybe they changed it

I did an address change Feb 26 on ECAS and I called them as well and ECAS still shows my old address. I called CIC and they said they have my new address on their end...Weird.

When did you call CIC? Just recently?

There is one "gotcha" to be careful about.

I applied for citizenship on April 29th last year. In early July, I moved. So I went to eCAS and updated my address. (I was already in eCAS (even before they opened my application) because I was also in the middle of sponsoring my wife at the time). In a few days, I saw eCAS update to my new address. Good. A month later, I saw an eCAS update to In Progress with information like "We have received your application and send you the Discover Canada book on July 16th" blah blah blah. I also noticed that my address changed back to the OLD one! What happened was when I changed it in eCAS early july, they didn't open my application yet. After I changed it to the new address, they opened my application and updated my eCAS using my address I had entered in the application forms which of course was my old one (since I filled it out in April). So I had to change my address AGAIN in eCAS as second time. After that I was fine. I also called CIC afterwards to confirm and they said they have my new address.

I don't know how many people would hit the issue I hit but thought I'd share.
