Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi Pals,

Just wondering to know at what stage of the processing your application does CIC request you for the payment of

Processing fee ($550)

and

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). - $490

Is it after you get the eAPR ?

Is it before checking the eligibility of the Applicant ?

After R10 and Completeness check ?

After Medicals ?

After Background verification ?

After Criminality ?

After checking for Admissibility ?

or before announcing the final decision ?

Please let me know

Processing Fee: Due when you submit your eAPR. The RPRF can also be paid at this time if you wish.

RPRF: If not paid with the Processing Fee, it will be requested towards the end of the assessment process. I had everything submitted at that point including additional requested documents.. My PPR email came 17 days after paying the RPRF.

I was thinking that CIC will ask for RPRF soon after submitting all the documents but not sure when, so just thought seek the opinion of others whose applications are already processes

For my timeline AOR was August 14th, and RPRF was requested on October 20th with PPR coming November 6th. I had medicals done in advance, but had to submit some additional documents and RCMP fingerprints between the AOR and RPRF dates.

The visa office where you send your passports to be stamped with the visa or the one that issues you an eCoPR and virtually lands you.
I still don't understand please. So if Ottawa is processing my file
They sent me imm5604 and RPRF 3 weeks ago, then I had background started in tracker and then 3 GU in gckey, but gckey shows background not applicable since start, so what does this mean? So Ottawa will not issue me COPR but sydney Australia will?

Unless you are in Sydney, AU, no they won't issue you CoPR!

I personally won't take these ghost updates in GCKey seriously. Wait till you see all completed in tracker or a "Decision made" in GCKey. Your CoPR will be issued by the visa office that stamps your passports with single-entry visa.
