When does a Working Holiday Visa start if I am in Canada? (PGWP to WH)

Hi everyone,
I am currently working in Canada with my Post Graduation Work Permit that expires in late November. In order to continue working, I am planning to apply for Working Holiday visa.
With my research, I understand that Working Holiday visa normally gets activated upon arrival to Canada, but since I AM in Canada right now, when will it start if my application was approved?

I want it to start from late November right after my PGWP expires, so I can keep working at the same organization and transition smoothly.

You need to exit Canada to activate it. You either need to leave and return on an international flight - or flagpole at a US/Canada land border.
