When do i have to leave canada?

I got into canada back in september and i was given 6 months to stay. My passport is stamped March 2. From the USA.


That means i have to leave the canadian border by march 2nd correct and not the 1st? Someone said whatever date it is... you should leave the canadian border the day before the stamp date so it has to be before March 2nd midnight?


Because im planning on leaving either March 1 or March 2 but prefer the 2nd but does it mean i have to leave before the 2nd and thus the 1st?


Will be taking a bus from canada to the usa.

Authorized to stay till March 2, so yes you can leave on March 2 ( anytime of the day )

Okay so as long as i take the bus that day march 2nd, i should be fine? I would plan to take the bus in the morning. But if there are any delays etc and it takes a while would i have problems? What happens if theres some delay/cancellation then i have to leave 1-2 day later? Would i have any big issues?

you should take no chances, if you overstay it will cause problems

Yup. One or two days earlier is the safest.
