When can we send application for 1st May

Hi Folks,

I want to apply to FSW under the 1st May 2014 new Nocs.( My noc was not listed in 2013). I live in US and I am applying for a popular NOC.

Considering that it would take at least 2 days to reach my application. Can I send the application today , April 29th 2014, so that it reach on May 1st or 2nd 2014?

or do I wait till May 1st to send my application ?

(Just dont want my application to get rejected if they consider that application should be mailed on 1st may).

Please let me know.

You can send your application any time as long as it reaches CIC on and after 01 May 2014.

I wanted to make sure because I read in another post that sometimes they see the mailing date. So that's why I was wondering ?

hi even i have the same doubt.i took a risk and sent my application yesterday.but iam afraid if they update any forms.did u send ur application or not yet?

Yes I did. I have also sent my application yesterday.

I too applied yesterday. I was just too afraid of the limit of 1000. Besides, May 1 is a holiday, so all activities in the courier services will be put on halt for a day.
