You choose your primary NOC in your own profile. So you could always check your own profile to see.

If you have 2 work experiences you claim and both are 12+ months of full time, for example, you could choose either one as primary, as long as they are both in NOC 0,A or B.

Yes, not having 12 months in your primary NOC would make you ineligible for EE.

Can I choose a primary NOC that I am not currently employed in but have a 12+ months experience?

I only have one NOC skill type-A that I have 12+ months experience in.

I am currently working in skill type-B that I have 7 months and going on...

The other one was also a skill type-B that I have about 6-7 months experience in.

So can I choose my primary NOC which is skill type-A as it has 12+ months experience although I am not employed under that NOC/Company?

Please advice.

The option of choosing primary NOC, I believe is only available after receiving ITA, is it correct?

That is correct. I was able to see my primary NOC while I was filling up my e-pr application.

Thanks codeguru, for confirming it...

Thats right. You can use any foreign work experience from the last 10 years and choose whichever one you have 12+ months of full time in as primary one.

I concur. @AsivadAnac confirmed the same.

Since application processing times vary dramatically between different applicants, its impossible to give an exact time but I would say the vast majority of rejections happen within the first 3 months after AOR.

Ultimately, rejections can happen at any time before PPR, so I think the best anybody can offer you is rough averages that would apply to most people.

One way you can find out is by ordering GCMS notes. That would tell you whether they have already looked at your employment information and whether it has been passed or not.

Is there a reason you are worried about those letters in particular?

Hi Andre_Smol,

How would I know if they review my employment information or not by looking at the GCMS note? Do they review before they transfer the profile to local visa office or after? Thanks a lot!

Your GCMS notes would have a section about your employment history and you would find the officer's remarks about whether or not they believe that you meet the criteria in that section and whether or not they accept the work experience you claimed points for.

If you check the GCMS Notes Explained thread on the forum, you should easily find several posts from people that show their GCMS notes referring to work experience.

I dont think there are any rules about which VO will take care of that or even if your application ever gets transferred to a local VO. Differs from case to case.

Your GCMS notes would give you all the details about what has been covered and what hasnt.

Hi i have 1 year of foreign work experience with 2 position but my company has only written one position with duties and responsibilities in reference letter will it work ????
