What's the purpose of itinerary for a Super Visa??

I'm apply for Super Visa for my parents, and the point is they stay 1 or 2 years in Canada, how can they book flight tickets a year from now?
Even they managed to get one, wouldn't that be suspicious?

IRCC states not to book flights. You take a screenshot of possible flight dates/times.

It’ll be better if you have your itinerary added to the supporting documents to help with your purpose of visit.
