what's the minimum score required?

Hello everyone,
This year I want to apply for the PR and one of the requirement is the IELTS test.
Last year I obtained a Master Science degree and now I have a job as Co-Op. I think I have enough points to apply for the PR but I'm not sure about what's the minimum score I need for the IELTS test. I heard is about 7 but does this mean that if I get an average of 5 I won't be accepted?

You need to score a minimum of 6 in each of the four IELTS categories. If you score a 5 in one category - then you don't qualify.

CLB 7 i.e., IELTS (Listening - 6, speaking - 6 , reading - 6, writing - 6) you must meet this minimum level.
