What's the IMM5802 for?

I need to apply for an extension of my closed WP. I have a letter that confirms LMO (former LMIA) exemption. On the checklist for the application it says that I have to submit:

- Offer of Employment to a Foreign National Exempt from a LMIA IMM5802 with proof of payment by the employer.
- A copy of the LMIA provided by Employment and Social Development Canada, if applicable, AND a copy of your job offer from your prospective employer

I assume I have to submit either or but I am confused as none of these seems to apply to me. Is the IMM5802 to apply for a new exemption? What does my employer have to pay for if I already have an exemption letter? I know that starting Feb this year there are new fees for LMIA exemption but I have already learned that my employer does not have to apply for a new one.

The second one doesn't apply either as I don't need an LMIA but I do have a job offer letter confirming that they would like to offer me the job for another 2 year.

Can anyone help?

the IMM 5802 , it is in essence a job offer letter with all the requirements that CIC wants to have on it. on a standardize format.
they a collecting processing fees from employers too.
you still have to pay the $155 cad.

the Exception is only to say that you dont need a labour market opinion .

i hope it helps

cheers
