What's the difference between Ottawa and Mississauga

Our papers were in Mississauga immigration center, that's from where we have received out approval letter. But i see lots of threads getts Ottawa involved what's the difference ?

I think but i am not sure that Mississauga is the one responsible for processing the sponsor part of the application and then forward it to the visa office. This is my guess.

They send it to Cairo office for example, where is Ottawa in the process then

Well yes for example they forward it to Cairo from Mississauga, but since Cairo was a little bit late in processing the applications so the Ottawa office was helping in processing the applications.

Will i believe you can give it a try and call CIC, or send them a specific case email, or wait until you get any news.
