Hi Everyone,
I would like to check in regard of the job offer section in the EE profile.
Now here on this link it says:
"Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) number (if you have one)"
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/eligibility/offer-employment.html
Now from what I know is that if you have a job offer with an LMIA that's additional 600 points.
But I don't have LMIA. So i was trying to recalculate my score through this link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
and by selecting that I do have a job offer I gained another 50 points. However on that link they state the following:
"supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or exempt from needing one"
so what does this 50 points that I got mean?
I do have a good chance of obtaining a job offer I believe but I would like to make sure first with the LMIA thing because I don't want to hassle the employer. And another question does a job offer without an LMIA make any difference with the application? If it doesn't should I bother with one?
Thanks guys. You are stars.
I promise to help too when I have got things figured out .
