After you land there is no more paperwork unless you decide you want your citizenship, but that is at 3 + years after you land. You will need to get a social insurance number, but that takes 5 minutes. Make sure before you land you have your goods and goods to follow paperwork filled out before you get the border. If you are importing a car you will have that to deal with during and after landing. You already filled out and endured the hard part of the paperwork, now it's the wait. Good luck, hope it goes quick and smooth for you! :)

Plus the OP needs a Canadian address for their PR card to be mailed to, they will be asked for that at the time of landing..

Thank you, but please excuse my knowledge, "unless you decide you want your citizenship, but that is at 3 + years after you land" does that mean I will not do anything till I stay for 3 + years only then I can apply for Citizenship ?.

"get a social insurance number" whats that for ? is it for Citizenship application only? is it mandatory thing for PR holder not a citizen ?

"you have your goods and goods to follow paperwork filled out before you get the border" sorry I dont know what do you mean ?
"importing a car" I do have a car now and I would like to import it, do I need to do the paperwork before landing ?.

Thanks for the wishes I hope it goes smooth, so far I just have to wait everything is completed just waiting for updates on, background, medical ...etc.

Thanks for your comment, what the OP ? and I thought once my application approved they will ask me for the passport and will get the PR ? if a card is required, do I need to apply for it once I land and can the mail address be a friend, family member or employer, address ?

OP = Original poster. In this case, means you. When they ask for your passport, you will get the PR visa (Confirmation of Permanent Residence). Technically, you are not yet a Permanent resident (PR) until you have completed your landing. At landing, you are asked to give an address so that IRCC can send you the PR card via regular mail. The address must be in Canada - could be a family member's, employer's or friend's address.

PR is permanent resident. (Does not include passport or able to vote)

Citizenship you actually become a Canadian (obtain a passport, able to vote etc)

social insurance number or SIN for short is exactly that. Need it in order to work, pay taxes.
