Aw well complicated case.. I am Indian and husband is Canadian citizen. We got married in 2009 and had baby in 2012 . Husband stayed here after marriage and gone back in 2012. Now he had issues for applying for me..our baby got citizenship already.. But I am in-between now he cleared his problems and yesterday applied my pr. But it will take a year atleast.. Meanwhile we are considering visitor visa because my baby is missing her father a lot.. Now I don't know will it work or I just have to wait..

Hi!

There are a lot of factors that affect the decision of the visa officer. Without knowing the whole situation it is really hard to say what are the chances for you.
My opinion - there is nothing wrong to apply for a TRV while you are waiting for your PR. A lot of people have done that already and they got their visas. In this case you just need to study thoroughly CIC website, read the guide for TRV, prepare all the necessary documents, give the clear explanation of your situation in cover letter (from you) and invitation letter (from your husband) and wait for the result.

I believe, it is worth to try. The only thing you might lose is your money and time. It will not affect your PR case.
Good luck!!

A red flag went up when I read your comment about being totally free. In order to get a trv you must prove to the visa officer that you have strong ties to home like a job, property and close family. With a Canadian husband and child and being totally free, you will be challenged to prove your ties to home are stronger than those in Canada, I am sorry to say. All the best.
