AOR means Aknowledgement of Receipt. You receive two AOR's during your PR process . One from CIO sydney and 2nd from CHC [where you submit full docs].

AOR is the root cause of an unnecessarily long, cumbersome process that usually causes a keen interest of action on forums mostly on tuesday mornings. Its an excellent measure to check an individuals patience level. ;D
