What would be the NOC code?

Hi guys,

For a job title Production assistant supervisor, that requires a bachelor's degree like Science or Engineering, what would the NOC code be? First of all, there is no ASSISTANT supervisor in the NOC code search. Even some of the Supervisors are only class B.

If you can't let me know what the NOC code is because I think it's hard without knowing exactly what is done in the job, I just need to know at least For Now, if this position is considered skilled. I'm guessing either 0, A, or B would be fine when applying for Express Entry? I did bachelor's engineering in Canada by the way.

Thanks so much for any help you can provide me.

Title doesn't matter, your duties have to match. Search through these and see if any of the job descriptions match.

Oh, and your degree won't mean anything until you get it converted.

You can send an e-mail stating your duties and responsibilities here: NC-NOC-CNP-GD@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca or noc-cnp@workingincanada.gc.ca

They will help you find the NOC code.

Other than that, yes 0/A/B works for Express Entry/

Cheers mate ;)

LOL - from the list posted by kryt0n, production of WHAT matters : ) Would have to know what industry/sector you work in to even begin guessing.

Oh, I'm sorry. I want to help by pointing in the right direction but without specifics there's only so much I can offer. As you're here though, go right ahead and help.

Hey, thanks for letting me know. What do you mean by degree won't matter until converted? I graduated in Ontario (bachelor's chemical engineering) . What does it need to be converted to? I'm confused.

No no, she probably got confused thinking you studied outside of Canada.

No need to convert anything ;)

Hey it's a pretty big pharmaceutical and natural health products company. It's a production "assistant" supervisor, supervising operators and reporting directly to production supervisor, investigating anomalies, leadership and coaching, etc. The job description requires bachelor's degree, like chemical engineering like I have.

Would you be able to help me with NOC with this information?

This is a weird assortment, but take a look-see:

Thanks! It is a bit weird as its class B. Usually in pharma companies manufacturing supervisors are chem engg graduates. I guess it doesn't matter in decision by CIC even though I have bachelors degree and work as class B job?

Also, Assistant supervisor goes in the same category as supervisor?

I really appreciate your help.
