What will happen if I apply the BOWP less than 30 days prior to the PGWP expiry date?

It has been about 5 months since AoR, so I hoped if I get PR at 6 months, I could get a refund for BOWP fee.

BTW, I am actually sitting in the pool with 443 scores and only received a letter to acknowledge that my EE profile has been created. I think it is not the AOR, right?
I am preparing the next IELTS in next week and hopefully, I will increase my cores in order to pass the cut off scores.
I understand that my BOWP probably will be rejected but have to try to buy some time for myself coz my PGWP expires soon on 8 May

IRCC doesn't like people trying to buy time. If you apply for a BOWP when you don't actually qualify, the app can be rejected as incomplete. That would mean no Implied Status. Even if it is rejected months from now, you would be considered to have been in Canada illegally since May 8th and all work done after that date would also be illegal. If it is rejected more than 90 days after May 8th, you would be in Canada illegally with no way of legalizing your status.
What if I got AOR and ITA after I submit my BOWP application but before they reject it? What if I got AINP nomination after I submit BOWP and before they reject it?
It could still be rejected. The requirement is to qualify at the time of applying, not when IRCC opens the up.

Or you can apply to change your status to visitor prior to your work permit expiring.

Yes, you can do both. However, the illegal work issue still applies if you continue working and the BOWP is rejected.

what if I do not quit but ask my company keep the position for me until I got AOR？
