What will be route to PR if one PGWP is used and I am going for masters

Hello, all

I am an international student in Ontario and recently completed my one-year graduate diploma. My study permit will expire on August 31, 2018. Based on one year program I will get one-year PGWP so I am actively looking for work. But If I could not find the job which meets all the criteria like full time etc.
If in the worst case I didn't find a job and I have used my work permit. If then I am going for masters what will be my route for PR? Will I be able to apply for PR after masters?
I am very confused
