what visa to apply for re-entry when a tfw will take vacation at p.i.

someone needs help re her case; here goes:

this is a tfw who already in canada and just taken her new work permit for a new employer. her employer advises her that at the moment she cannot be accommodated for a schedule due to slow season and the line up of roster is still complete.

the tfw is thinking of a vacation at p.i. while waiting for the call of employer. the sending home ticket is courtesy of past employer. these are the questions:

1. the person only holds valid work permit valid for more than a year. if going outside canada like philippines is there a re - entry visa that needs to apply and have it in possesion when coming back?

2. if yes; is it the visitor visa that needs to apply?

3. if not visitor visa; then what it is?

4. any link in the website?

search for TRV ottawa for the link on how to apply for the TRV and the requirements

~ apply TRV in Ottawa, about a month processing time; TRV will probably be co-terminus with your current WP and your employer must be willing to write a letter in support of the TRV application (NB: proof of current employment)
~ leaving for vacation, WP must be valid and the employer is willing to write a letter stating you're going on a vacation and will work for them when you come back

Oh sorry, I probably was not too clear. I mean you can send your application for the visa to CPP-Ottawa. I was trying to copy/paste the link but i was not getting anywhere, hence my remark to search for TRV Ottawa.

what do you mean by nb?...
in the enumerated requirements in the following order as:
1. signed with date trv application form
2. valid passport
3. (2) visa photo
4. proof of payment/receipt
5. valid work or study permit

i did not find writing an endorsement letter.. is this optional that may help to grant a trv?

i did not send letter from my employer too becoz my emloyer is out of town but i have included my 2 most recent paystun or payslip as a proof of my current employment,,,hopefully that will work..
