I never earned a salary, I worked wage per hour. What do I put down when it asks me to write my monthly salary income...it's up and down and I couldn't even estimate because I worked two jobs within 12 months.

I'm the sponsor btw

What if you took your last years income and divide it by 12 months . I earn hourly and commission so that's what i did .. Now saying that i don't know if they will except it . We will soon know.

That's not very helpful.

I'd like answers that will answer my question with facts and certainty. Anyone have a solution that will sit right for the CIC in Missisauaga? I don't want them sending back the application.. I just want to be sure if it is okay to write down hourly wages...

Remember there is no minimum income to qualify for spousal PR sponsorship. So why are you worried about your application being sent back. Option C will provide all the detail CiC needs to confirm you have not been on social assistance along with income details.

Please don't be hasty with the remarks towards taffy. He is trying to help you.

good luck with that! people on this forum can really only provide information based on their own experience and what they've "heard" or "read" from others going through the process. As far as i know no one works for CIC and knows for sure. Even when people call CIC, people receive different answers to the same question. So even CIC officials don't always know facts and certainty. We just have to do the best we can with the information we have. If CIC needs more information from you, they will ask. Every application is unique. if you don't know an answer to a question on the forms, then explain it. i believe they are more concerned about whether you fit the income requirement for a sponsor, and are not using public assistance, not whether your calculations are exactly correct.

The above poster was replying based on her own experience which sounds similar to yours. we are all on here to seek and give help. comments on here are not meant to be taken as absolute certainty.

My partner did exactly what taffy7 mentioned in his/her reply!

I'm not being hasty. When I ask questions I would like to receive advise based on facts or close to it.
I'm worried because you're supposed to fill every box to the best of your ability. I think my reasoning and curiosity is 100% valid. It's actually evident, sorry you don't get it?

I don't know why most of you users are getting so defensive. Relax. I just want advice from someone that is experienced. You don't need to get defensive or take offense to my response. It's very stressful and I want to make sure that everything is 100% okay hence why I am here. If someone responds with advice that isn't helpful to me, I am in my right to say it.

Don't take offense. Try to be understanding as much as you claim to be..

Just an idea, but maybe you should look to hire an immigration lawyer who has dealt with 100s or 1000s of applications. They usually assist in completing all of the forms.

Of course they will accept it. Sponsorship eligibility is the easy part, unless you've recently been on social assistance or have a criminal background that disqualifies you from being a sponsor.

If you are really that concerned. You can submit copies of your last 12 months of paystubs. I did this with my application. Since I worked part of the months in Canada, and part of the months in US, I submitted US monthly paystubs and Canada paystubs to show total income for the last 12 months prior to the application.

Hope this help you with your answer.

Please remember people in this forum are here to help others out of their own will for free. There is no need to be so rude!!! I certainly won't be answering any of your questions if you have that attitude.

If you want 100% (or as close to it) certainty, jomz's advice of hiring a reputable lawyer is the best advice. All most of us can do here is provide suggestions based on similar experiences. A lawyer would have best knowledge since they have dealt with so many applications. This will give you the best peace of mind.

I understand people are here to help. And I thank the users and am so appreciative. But, If you went back and actually read my explanation than you wouldn't need to post that. And you telling me you won't answer my question doesn't do anything. I'm fairly certain that there are (as evidence shows) other users here that aren't petty like you. I don't think I'll be missing much if you decide not to respond to my questions considering how you actually did not help or answer my question, just letting you know.

why cant i post or start a new topic?

when i start a new topic it says
