Hi Experts,

I got my COPR and will move to Canada by end of this month. In the documentation from immigration office, it is mentioned that I need to show POF at landing. My question is

1. Do I need to bring all cash (A family of 4 people, about $21000)?

2. Instead of bringing cash, can I show bank statement(s) of my saving account (INR) from my Indian bank account? Is it acceptable?

3. Instead of bringing cash, can I show bank statement(s) of my Fixed Deposit accounts (INR) from my Indian bank account? Is it acceptable?

At present I am living and working in Japan. But my savings are in Indian account (Non Resident Indian). I will fly directly from Japan. Is it acceptable to bring bank statements of my Indian account?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I realy doubt, they ask for cash / DD / Canada Bank Account Statement.

Bumping up the post...

I have the same question as coolgp...

I know for a fact my sister carried her Indian Bank Account Statements as POF.

What all are acceptable POF modes?
