what to prepare when landing

Hi friends..
so i will go and land at Vancouver airport
but i'm going to live in Alberta.
Anyone can help me with list what things i need to do in the Vancouver's airport
and is there something i should do or go in Alberta concerning the immigration / pr ? or health insurance?

I booked my flight n i will arrive in Canada at 19.00
Is it true that i must wait until morning for the immigration processing at the airport?
