What to give employer to confirm Implied Status -

Hi everyone:

I have uploaded my online application for the extension of my Work Permit which will expire on April 15, 2014. (crossing finger that everything is right and complete ;D so that there is no delay)
My employer is asking me for confirmation of Implied Status after I applied, what should I send them?

I received a letter from CIC with the application number and other very general info through MyCIC.
Should I send the application No. or/and the entire letter or what is it that I am suppose to send/give to them and if it is not this letter I got how should I get what you will be recommening.

hey again, a couple of more questions

SIN number:
1-my SIN number also will expire on April 15th, will this cause a problem on payroll and my salary?
Or those implied status also applies to the the SIN number expiration date as well, I think that should be the case but wanted to check with the senior experts in the forum since why would I be able to keep working in an implied status if my employer would have problem paying me due to my expired SIN number, but since I am no expert need your guidance on this too.

2-I also read somewhere that SIN number is valid for 8 weeks after WP expires, is this correct? or my above assumption in point 1 is that one that applies?

3-Should I buy insurance for at least a month?

Note: I applied online today - processing time is suppose to be around 13 days

POE entry - WP application:
As I mentioned I just applied online today as per suggestion of my lawyer, but now reading some post I am finding out that I could have applied at the port of entry. I had to fly back to my country due to a family member passing away but I am going back this Sunday to Canada, which means I could have applied right at the POE : , too bad I have just applied online just a couple of hours ago.
QUestion:
1 - can I actually take the physical application and support documentations, tell the officers at the airport that I just applied online but wanted to actually apply at the POE now since I am anyways passing through a POE. Hope this answer from you guys is actually yes, since this would simplify so much right now in my life.
