What to do if you cannot make it to Canada within the visa validity?

Hi. I got immigration visa but it will expire in one month. I cannot shift on such short notice and I cannot also just go there, land and return because visa is valid for one entry and PR I will get after six weeks of landing in Canada which is mandatory to travel back to Canada.

How can this visa be extended e.g. can I get medical re-examination because that determines visa validity date but I can get medical twice only if it is requested by canadian authorities.

Can you simply advice what course of action shall I take.

You can't extend it. Use it or lose it.

If you don't arrive in Canada before the expiry of the visa you have been issued, then it will become useless and you will have to start the process of applying again from the start.

What if I land in Canada within deadline and return. Is there a way I can get another entry option before getting a PR?

You can land and get straight back on the next flight. However, you might want to consider getting your SIN number allocated if possible within the airport. Some have Service Canada offices in them.

Just have the PR mailed to a friend's or relative's address and let them post it to you once they receive it.

That a great help. I plan to stay there for 1 week now and will share friend's address for PR.
Will I be able to get SIN in one week and is there any other important thing which I shall do in that 1 week.

You can get on the same day if you land in Toronto airport. Otherwise you can go to service Canada office next day and get it.
