I was an inlander OOPNP under CEC. Application was rejected: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/inconsistent-noc-duty-comments-in-gcms-notes-t413664.0.html

Should I put a new application or wait? Without PNP my score won't be anywhere near the line.

Hi there, sorry to hear about your rejection, it's very frustrating and upset i knew it.

If you don't want to fight the long and boring "reopen your case" battle with cic, create a new profile and re-entering the pool is what you can do now.
Since you have OOPNP, if your nomination did not expire, you still stand a chance since you can email OINP office for nomination transfer once you finished creating a new profile and have it activated. But you have to carefully explain to them regarding the reason of your rejection and why you won't be rejected again for it.
In the mean time, try to think about and plan your employment letter carefully I would say.
The feeling isn't so great that you hv to start fresh again, but there is still ways to go. good luck

Before you do anything, order GCMS notes. Look for the real reason not the check boxes mentioned on your refusal letter. You'll see the difference and what actually did you miss. Then work on it and reapply again.
Good luck for next time. Don't lose hope. These things take sometime. :)

Thanks for the compassion. My PNP expired on May 18th; I sent an email to OINP office on May 3rd to ask for extension, but did not get a response...

How do I reopen the case though? Is there any way?

You can order notes after rejection?

Don't worry, the good news is that you're not the first, nor won't be the last to be in the same situation.

What I personally find most confusing is the Proof of Work Experience in the Mandatory Documents for All Applicants section of: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Which states at the end:
f the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years]).

Shouldn't this mean that T4's and NOA's should suffice as proof if you have work experience in Canada?
That is what I thought too. But no.

I've seen quite a few cases that people got rejected because of NOC code, or some missing documents from work. They are not included in the guide, and they can just refuse you for not providing it.

Only if you manage to completely ignore the section above it, which states reference or experience letters are mandatory.... Sorry, I know you all are frustrated, but you are in good company, lots of people have to apply 2 (or more) times because of misunderstanding the instructions.

Experience letters (AKA letters of reference, letters of employment) are the single most important document for ALL applicants to prove you have the claimed skilled work experience. T4s and NOAs don't tell a VO what you actually do... only a letter from your employer will attest to your duties and responsibilities. T4s and NOAs do provide excellent corroborating evidence in support of a letter.
