A gap in education or work is not a crime. Mention the truth.

but my counselor said chances are negligible if i show 2 year gap.
can i show the proofs that i have been preparing to some govt job for 2 years?

You can say you were unemployed, actively trying to get a job, trying to prepare for a job on your own, soul searching or whatever, just don't lie about anything.

Who is your counselor? And, what does your counselor asks you to do? In western countries taking a year off from studies or work to pursue an interest or passion is not considered in a negative way.

Just tell the truth. simple. say you were pursuing a hobby or trying to get into social services. taking a break from studies is perfectly alright.
P.S. Fire your counselor.

yeah. i will able to arrange work experience but thing is i dont waana lie.

You definitely do not want to "arrange" anything on your application. Lets say you do this and you get caught. Maybe you don't think you could get caught but it takes just somebody knowing about your scam getting angry with you and telling, it's that simple.

So if you get caught early on in your application process, you are definitely not getting the study permit and by lying, you will not be getting any temporary visa in Canada at least not for a few years. Having been denied in Canada can affect your ability to get a temporary visa in other countries too.

Now, lets say you don't get caught early in the application process. Lets say you get your study permit, after that a post grad permit and after that you apply for PR. This lie can still come back to haunt you. If they catch you while you are applying for PR, they will deny it and kick you out. If you get your PR but they catch you later, they can revoke your PR and kick you out.

So you definitely do not want to "arrange" anything on your application. Just tell the truth.
