Yes, I know, I have made mistake and i regret it still, but as everybody makes mistaes, I hope somebody will help me with such a Q:
I got cought shoplifting almost 3 years ago, when I was waiting for my temporary visa to process, after spending one year on working/holiday visa in CAN.
I assume they were able to read in my face how much I regret this stupid mistake, so after calling police who checked my ID, after filling the papers, taking a photo and conversation, and forbiding visiting store for 2y, they let me go from security room (so no court,no fingerprints). The only thing I had to go to imigration office next day, because they were not sure about my status here in CAN (just double check-it was legal, I was on waiting period to receive temporary visitor visa).

Now returning to Canada after almost 2 years and applying for multiple-entry-temporary resident visa, I dont know what to write when they ask this Q:
Have You ever commited (??), been arrested for (no?), been charged with (no) or convicted (no) of any criminal offecnce in any country?

You were let off with a warning from the security staff at the store. You only have to advise them if you were arrested or charged by the police or convicted in the court of law.

Security staff at the mall are neither of these.

Thank You for answer.
I just updated my story - I dotn know if that makes any big difference, but they called police also, which checked my ID, and in the end they both agreed on not taking this case further.

If there is no police record the only way the immigration service will ever know of this is if you tell them. From what you have said they just scared the living crap out of you to teach you a lesson which by the sounds of things you got loud and clear.

Putting this on your application may only cause issues where there doesn't need to be any

Apply for Police Clearance Certificate from canada and u will come to know
