A wife/children. Previous international travel. This one is a bit sneaky. One thinks if I haven't travelled out of my country that shows my tie, but it is actually the opposite. Having enough earnings to afford holidays abroad "shows" that you are established with good earning power in your home country. It further shows that you have returned home in the past.

It is a problem. The VO will look at the facts presented and think this person has no compelling reasons to leave Canada. Perhaps if you get a job at home in a field you would like to work in in Canada, save hard, take some trips elsewhere, then apply, you would be in a stronger position.
