Folks,
Can one drink water on the day of the test or is it suppose to be fasting? Also if fasting will drinking water affect fasting?

Hi,

As far as i know you can drink water as much as you want.
But i will will advice you not to drink too much because of the urine test.
Otherwise the might call you back for another urine test.

What i mean is that will drinking water in normal not shoot up or down anything?

1. I don't see a response for the diabetic question I posed.
Can anyone explain the consequences of slightly high sugar levels if they have had that experience?

2. What goes on in the HIV test?

Thanks in advance.

I do not think slightly high blood sugar will cause any problem. I guess that is pre-diabetic right. Usually, it cannot be detected in your urine, where to test the sugar level.

Do not know about HIV test. But I would think HIV postive will put you medical inadmission. Sorry.

Thanks in advance.

I have undergone the medical test and this is what happened -

1. Urine test
2. Blood test along with HIV test
3. X ray of Chest
4. Vision test
5. Whole body check up along with blood pressure
6. Asked about prescription medicine, alcohol usage, smoke pattern, drug usage, surguries in last on year

I also recd photocopy of my tests. Not sure if this is general practice followed by all the DMPs or not.

Thank you! there is no stool test! Boy! What a relief.

Stool test is done here for employment to multinational firms so it is good that the medicals will not include that.

I have a question though: Will my 2 year old and 11 year old undergo such medical? I sort of read in the first few posts that there are test for those above 15. What about for 11 year old?

Also, as to papsmear. If the papsmear done is barely a year old, will that do?

Thanks everyone! Love this site! ;D

My 8 year old went for whole body check up and urine test but not blood test and X Ray. DMP also did not discussed about pap smear or performed any test, although I was carrying the report which was 6 months old.

Above info is purely based on what was done.
