Hi, I'm English and will be 18 soon but wanted to attend Concordia university in about two years, I could probably easily cover the first two years of tuition but was wondering if there was any financial help I could get? I was looking into computer sciences but when I saw the scholarships for it, it didn't tell me how much it covered, does anyone know what scholarships I could get and how much they could cover? and does anyone know of any loans I could get? is there a student loan or something I could get? thank you

There is no financial help for foreign students, no loans either. However, there could be grants and bursaries for foreign students (depends on the university). Usually they are very small $500-2000.

(Why would you like to spend three times more money in Canada for the same education as in UK(but much cheaper)?!?!?) :o :D

Concordia is cheaper then the tuition at a UK university. UK Nationals pay 9000 pounds a year to attend university.

Really? If I do 12 credits per semester (the minimum) then it costs like 15k a year

Backing up what others have said about scholarships and loans. The vast majority of scholarships are reserved for Canadian citizens and residents - so you should assume you won't be able to get one. If you want to take out a loan, you would do this in the UK (not in Canada).

That's what I'm trying to figure out, if I can get a loan in the UK to go study in Canada

I believe how this works you can always get loan from UK for university education. Of course the whole system is structured around British universities but I doubt they'll turn you down just because you're going to a study abroad.

Really? I wasn't aware you could do that
