I am writing this post in behalf of my sister .

She gives birth new baby boy last week and this is her first baby.

She is now PR and would be eligible for citizenship application end of this year ( under current rule ).

All I know She will arranged birth certificate and will apply passport for her baby.

Anything more she need to do at this point.

Was the baby born in Canada or abroad? If in Canada, the child is a Canadian citizen, so nothing else has to be done regarding the baby in connection with your sister's application for citizenship.

If not already aware, ensure it is a long form birth certificate.
