what should be company criteria to apply for CEC

hi everyone,
there are some questions that makes me very confused about pr and questions are about company. what are the company's requirements to eligible for applying in Canadian experience class. like how much should be gross sale for company, how many full time employees should working in there, how old the company should be.

now my situation is, my uncle running a trucking company and he's the only one who is running this company and company is legitimate. he's offering me full time job as accountant. my concern is there is no other employee is working and they have quarter a million gross sales and company is about 2 years old. is there be any issue with company while applying in Canadian experience class.

I think CEC is too far away for it to be a concern right now. What you should really try and understand is how you will get a LMO to come to Canada for this job?

I am just trying to understand why would HRSDC give you a LMO/work permit to work as an accountant in Canada for a company that has only 1 employee. I mean, honestly, I think there are lot of accountants in Canada who will do this job. How will your uncle prove to HRSDC that he could not find anyone in Canada suitable enough for this job?

Having said that, the answer to your question is that there are no company requirements - it has to be a Canadian corporation and a legal organization. The problem with a small company is going to be as to how the VO will verify the legitimacy of the company? If the VO is not convinced that it is a proper organization, he/she has the right to refuse the application. With a small company, it boils down to the VOs discretion and comfort level.

From how I am reading your post, it seems that this post is more of a front for you to come to Canada than an actual job offer. Please remember that I am not a VO and do not assess applications on regular basis and, I am asking these questions. Now, if a VO who has ample experience in assessing applications sees your applications - what would his/her reaction be?

u can apply with one year exp with this company as i said as long it is register in canada you are good to go

This PGWP solves all your other problems. But, make sure that your reference letter and information about the company that you provide to CEC is right/true and air-tight.

I am not sure if you still come and check the forum but I am wondering to know what happened to your case because I am in the same situation and have been working for a company which is only 3 months old.
