Did people send proof such as emails, pictures of cards/gifts, chat logs, Facebook proof & phone bills between them and their spouse for your inland PR application? Or did you just include pictures and that's it?

Thanks!

You need to send relationship proof with an inland application. It's no different than an outland application. So yes - send proof such as emails, pictures, chat logs, etc.

There is no financial requirement to sponsor. What the previous posters mean is that financial details such as joint account statements, transfers between your individual accounts, etc. is very good evidence to prove the genuineness of the relationship.

There is no exact recipe. Send what proves your relationship. Put yourself in the shoes of a VO. Include photos that show a story, samples of texts, email, greeting cards, letters, outings....samples!

Samples you say.... I hope 100 pages of emails isn't overdoing it. That's just part of my proof....

It really depends on the circumstances of the relationship ( i.e. common law, conjugal, formally married, ). Do what proves your relationship. I'll just say IMO that if you have been formally married for several years, have a child, lived together, etc. , i bet 100 emails is too much.

Why 100 emails if you live together and can communicate face to face? Thats another way to view it. I think photos that capture special moments with captions on each one are good to include. I inc. about 80 but just samples of other things like; texts, emails, etc.

the 1st 2 years of our relationship was long distance. so i have many emails from that period of time. then i have emails showing correspondence between myself, my wife, my family and her family for the other 5 years. the emails also back up answers from questions in some of the immigration forms. maybe it is too much, i'll have to go through them again.

Not knowing your relationship, I personally feel 100 pages of email proof is too much unless you have remarkable red flags. Rather than having a lot in one kind of proof, you want to include fewer but more variety of proof from different events. Pick some samples to show how often you communicate when you are apart, or how long you have been communicating. You don't need to show all from the beginning. You don't need to show all the personal messages, just a couple, maybe.

You don't need to send 10s of pictures from all key events. If you have longer relationship, pick one from key events and more from wedding, and engagement and preferably with family involved.

If you have no joint accounts, how do you manage your finance with your spouse? You are the sole breadwinner? Explain that in your cover letter. We did not have joint accounts at the time we sent my application, so I included how we share household expenses. Will and life insurance would be something to consider. Joint tax filing is also good proof.

Focus on quality than quantity.
