What "port of entry" should I enter?

Hello,

My Startup Visa application has been approved and my passport now has the visa! I live in Costa Rica and plan to go to Canada soon.

In the letter I received, I was told I would be interviewed upon my arrival at Canada in a "port of entry".

I imagine that's an international airport? But then it bears the question: can I arrive at ANY international airport in Canada to get my permanent resident status?

Or perhaps I need to arrive at a specific airport?

NOTE

My confirmation of permanent residence says that my province of destination is Nova Scotia, and the city is Halifax. Does that mean my port of entry should be in there? Can't it be somewhere else?

If you want a definite answer, why don't contact the visa office or Canada Border Services Agency? I suppose you can enter any port of entry with immigration services, but you might want to contact them to be sure.

The port of entry is the first airport you land in Canada, weather its your final destination or you need to take another flight to reach your final destination. That's my opinion. You can surely confirm either calling the CBSA or Immigration.

Yes. Most land borders work, too.

It can be any airport. There are situations where it matters (such as under the PNP streams), but you can land at any PoE.
