Dear Ad Singh,

If you are applying for Post Bacc. diploma in accounting from TRU , your chances of getting a Visa would be slim. Because you have already done M.Com and C.A. . You must not apply for accounting. May be you can get admission in TRU but for visa ????????.
I met an adviser from TRU in person, he said Post Bacc. is similar to B.Com . As you know this subject (accounting) you must not apply for the same.
I got admission in Thomson Rivers University for Jan 2012.

thanks for the reply AshokCan.

the course i have opted for is related to my past education . Moreover, this course can be done only by those who have a bachelors degree.. so how can it be said that.. that post bacc diploma is like b.com.. >:(

Yes , i know accounting , but the course i am going for gives me knowledge of international accounting standards .. international taxation. we dont have any courses in india on taxation laws in canada, america ..and also international reporting standards.

awaiting response of enfield too.. 8)

Hi,

I think he hold a very good chances. He is a gold medalist and of course a CA. We can understand the value of a gold medal in a country like India. And as we all know, visa is all about academic profile. It's something which makes your candidature strong and promising.

And we should also consider the case of Sandhujas, a member who hold MBA degree with a reasonable amount of work experience, and now going for a Diploma level course.

and there can be many professional reasons for a CA/Accountant to understand the taxation/account system of other countries.

*it's only my personal views.

First of all best of luck my friend for your VISA,

You old a very good chnaces for VISa as teh course you opted is not available in INDIA, its post Bacc which is of PG level, and your academic is Very strong.

My best wishes with you.

this accounting course for international tax and accounting laws is not available in india..so if anyone who is masters in indian taxes and accounts..he has to go abroad to learn how investments, accounts and taxes operate as per western laws and standards.

thanks for the reply enfield and vicky 86.

@ vicky ..you are right that its a post graduate level course.
moreover, our friend sandhujas got the visa for post graduate course in college even though he was an mba. which further gives me hope..

rest it all depends on almighty. whatever he wishes for me.. i will accept it. ;D
