What is the time duration in receiving email after the passport is dispatched?

My passport was dispatched right now...But I have not received the email.

How long do they take to send email?

My wife's passport was requested on 7 September and we've send it next day. The passport was delivered to our assigned embassy in Mexico on Wednesday and when I logged into CIG on Friday I noticed that her application was approved and closed. Saturday I received an e-mail and when I logged into CIG there was the letter with all the information that we need for the POE. However the passport has not been shipped back as yet.
