And what are the implications for future draws?

Experienced members like Asivad Anac please comment. I'm sure a lot of members are confused about score being this high as the last few rounds were in the 450's range...
I personally have 475 points and was almost 100% sure to get the ITA :(

Loads of PNs me thinky.

This usually happens after 2 draws of scores in the 450 range. They try to keep the score high to clear off the people with PNPs. While this can be frustrating, I am very sure the score should come down to 460s in the next draw to compensate for this high score, and then eventually again to 450s.

So please do not lose hope or get disappointed. This is just a matter of few weeks. You can make use of this time to get a PCC done, or collect other documents. PCC usually takes a longer time, so I think for your score, if you start now, you would have those documents ready by the time you get a ITA.

Cheer up !

The more days that pass between two consecutive draws the higher the cutoff will be, since more people with higher scores will enter the system. This time the draw was after 3 weeks while 450 cutoffs occurred whenever draws were in 2 weeks or less.

The good new is there will be more draws before this year ends right?

Probably. But they don't have to. They announced 15-25 draws. They've done 19, they could stop if they wanted to.

If that's true, then there's nothing fun for this Christmas :(... I really don't like the waiting game at all.

PNP's have been issued.

As I understand PNPs always get issued. So are you saying that there were more PNP candidates now then in the previous rounds? And if so, why?

Ontario entered the EE PNP thing in June. They said their PNP's would take approx 3 months for processing. They've started issuing them.

How many nominations will they issue? aka. how long will it effect the scores being this high?

who knows? they've 2500 PNP spaces available, we've no way of knowing how many they've approved so far.
Plus they're not the only province still issuing PNP's. Don't know if it'll be a constant high number but there'll always be PNP profiles in the pool. How many at a time is anyone's guess.

This draw came after 3 weeks from previous draw. Next you may see draws every two weeks. Total of 23 draws by the end of year. Usually if there is a 3 week gap in draws the score go up.
