What is the letter i should immigration to prove im off welfare?

I was once on welfare but i am no longer is there a special letter i should have welfare write stating im no longer on it directly to cic? Or can it just be a general letter?

Not sure there is a specific one. If you can prove youre working and have been for a while with a letter of employment, this should suffice

Prove that you are employed. That is the easiest way.

There is no letter but you should contact the welfare authority and ensure that you are no longer on their recipient list. There have been others in the past who were refused when IRCC checked with the authority and the sponsor was still listed as being in receipt of welfare.
