on vfs site its mentioned 15th august but on university checklist its mentioned 1st august is the last date. so do it tomorrow if everything is ready. Good Luck

ya it means that you need to file your case as soon as possible because there may b a problem in last dates so hurry up buddy....

I too got my CAQ today . My deadline for classes is 18th September at Concordia . Can I apply as well?

on vfs site its mentioned 15th august but on university checklist its mentioned 1st august is the last date. so do it tomorrow if everything is ready. Good Luck

I also have an offer letter from Humber College, Canada but due to some reasons I was not able to submit the file till now. I applied for VISA yesterday on 10th August online and my term starts on 5th September.

My consultant is saying that it is completely fine to apply for VISA now. But my friends are suggesting me to withdraw the file and apply for Jan Intake because there are chances of rejection.

I don't know what to do.

This is written on SPP checklist, given by cic.
We strongly recommend that you submit your application at least three months
ahead of your proposed date of travel. Applications that are received after 01 April
for May entry, after 01 August for September entry and after 01 December for
January entry will not normally be processed in time for the start of classes and
may be refused.

It is not safe to apply after 1st August . Since , the chances of rejection are high, also when they reject they do not mention the reasons they mark "other" . So basically it's blacklisted tonne precise. After much talks and advise I dropped my intake . For my course they didn't have a January intake. So now I am applying for masters at the university of Windsor .
