I dont mean about a change in status i mean the actual work done by cic in that time periodastralsource said:for FSW this is the approximate time yes, see immitracker
nothing is done before medical, this is the first thing.
yeah for sure, actual work is probably ten minutes a lot of candidates to process I guessWolverine17 said:I dont mean about a change in status i mean the actual work done by cic in that time period
What i mean is if medical review will take 50 days how come the whole process will be finished in 6 months orastralsource said:yeah for sure, actual work is probably ten minutes a lot of candidates to process I guess
Medical getting passed in 50 days doesn't mean that they are taking 50 days for medical review. It means the case has been assigned someone and the person has started looking in to the documents. The first step in their adjudication must be linking medicals to the application through UMI number provided in the sheet. Once they do that, the application must be automatically be updated for medical status.Wolverine17 said:What i mean is if medical review will take 50 days how come the whole process will be finished in 6 months or

For Fsw complete processing time around 100 daysTatya_Vinchu said:So once the medicals get cleared does everything else get processed fast enough or is it months of wait time for every step?
Most people seem to be cleared between 3 and 5 months. However, CIC has explicitly stated that they will clear 80% of cases in 6 months. Unfortunately, depending on a persons circumstance, they could fall in the 20% too where it takes over 6 months. There is a thread specifically in this forum for people where its taken over 6 months. And many there get it in 12 to 14 months.Tatya_Vinchu said:So once the medicals get cleared does everything else get processed fast enough or is it months of wait time for every step?
When you say person's circumstance, what does it mean? What factors play a role in determining processing time? If your application is pretty simple (clear meds, clean background ie. no criminal records, all documents delivered in required format, nothing suspicious) then can you expect your application to be processed faster?johnsyk said:Most people seem to be cleared between 3 and 5 months. We just have to hope we fall in the 80% category!
I think the people having times 12-14 months are pnp applicants, right?johnsyk said:Most people seem to be cleared between 3 and 5 months. Few fsw applicants has their medicals as passed alreadyjohnsyk said:And now as per tracker, clearing of medical for FSW is now at 55 days. I am an April AOR, I don't think I can expect anything to change before 60 days!
