I am travelling to Canada in about 3-4 weeks. My friend has a 2 bedroom basement (full kitchen, 1 bathroom, washer, dryer, etc.. and a separate entrance).
He is occupying 1 bedroom. So I was reading following on the Canada.ca website:
"When entering Canada, you'll be:

required to acknowledge that you must:
My friend ist 25 years old and barely leaves the house.
Am I understanding it correctly or do I HAVE TO isolate myself for the remaining 11 days? To my understanding, and as the website states, if I don't have symptoms I don't need to isolate myself and I "just" need to quarantine.

- quarantine for 14 days if you don't have symptoms or
- isolate for 14 days if you have symptoms"
