what is the difference between ainp new process and old process ?

could any one please tell me the difference between the old and new process and how to find weather one applied under new process or old process,in my case I applied in april 27 th 2009 and got file number in nov 10 2009.

I read this some where in our forum posted by member "desikivaat",so i am updating the same

If you had pre-assesment by AIPN & then they asked you to fill up application form & send to AINP after which u received file number then you are in old process & if u straight away sent an application to AIPN without any pre-assesment by AIPN and got file number then u belong to new process.
