What is the cause of delays on visa?

Its because of excessive students going this year.
 
Sept. is always a busy intake.
 
Any idea, how long does it normally take for September intake ?

what is analog passport by the way?
 
It is hand written passport. But now all the passport is machine readable. It will not create any problem.

Masters student - York Univ - paid my fees + over $100,000 in liquid funds - have a previous undergrad and masters from the UK and 4 yrs of work experience.

Applied on 21st May in Delhi - still waiting for the visa.

applied on 31st May 2013 , medical call 3rd june , done with medical 4th june , till then intezaar intezaar intezaar ;)
