What is the best way to bring my child and husband to Canada?

Hi,

I am getting a marriage certificate in October and giving birth in November in Bhutan.

I want to come to Canada as soon as possible with my to-be husband (from Bhutan) and baby. My goal is to keep us all together so I am willing to wait for citizenship for the baby and a visa for the husband.

What is the fastest way for all of us to come to Canada?

Should I go immediately after the marriage certificate interview in October (will my husband be able to obtain a temporary visa in this short time and apply for spousal visa afterward)? Or do I wait in Bhutan for the baby's citizenship/passport ad husband's spousal visa?

Thank you for your guidance and advice

If you are a Canadian citizen, then you can stay in Bhutan and sponsor your husband outland. If he can get a visitor visa, he could go to Canada with you and the baby, and then you could apply to sponsor him inland. To get a visitor visa, he has to prove he will leave Canada, so with a Canadian wife and baby, this may be difficult to get.

OK so the best way to do this is to stay in Bhutan and sponsor outland?

By the way thank you so much for your answer. I've been waiting anxiously for a response!

Applying outland from Bhutan might be your only choice. You could try getting him a TRV; if he gets it, then you can apply either inland, or outland but with him in Canada as a visitor. If he doesn't get it, you are in the situation you are in now.
If you stay in Bhutan and apply outland, then you will have to include proof that you intend to return to live in Canada.

OK thank you. I reckon outland application and staying in Bhutan is my best option.
